ERP Business Analyst – Stanleytown, VA

 

Stanley is seeking an ERP Business Analyst to be based out of our corporate office in Stanleytown, Virginia. The position will be responsible for transforming business processes and systems in the areas of forecasting, procurement, supply chain management and warehousing. This role will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise, strong analytics and process development to enable premier performance in inventory management and import logistics. Part of a cross-functional core team to support Stanley’s Customer Care Initiative (CCI Implementation Team), this position will work with other subject matter experts, team members and managers to design and implement best practice business processes. Particular focus will be placed on lean thinking and process standardization to enable standardized business solutions through the design, development, implementation and support of Infor’s Syteline enterprise resource planning (ERP) business system and total integration into Stanley’s customer satisfaction initiatives.

 

In this role, the individual will be responsible for establishing relationships with extended business teams throughout the Stanley organization to transform business process designs:

  • Analysis – Understanding and documenting current processes and benchmarking the current state against best practices.
  • Standardization & Design – Leveraging lean practices to develop best-in-class processes, establish standard processes and integrate within system design. Develop business cases for transformation opportunities.
  • Development – Collaborate with other members of the CCI Implementation Team to ensure alignment between data, systems and processes throughout implementation and beyond
  • Deployment – Lead deployment efforts to ensure buy-in and engagement from all organizational stakeholders.

 

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in functional management and/or cross-functional process design
  • Ability to solve complex enterprise-wide business problems to determine solutions that will yield expected business results through integrated high performing business processes
  • Ability to design innovative processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-driven process orientation
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data analysis to drive decisions
  • Passion for continuous improvement
  • Associate’s degree in business, information systems, engineering or related field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • 3 -5 years project management and planning experience
  • Certification and/or experience with process improvement methodologies (ex: Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Infor’s Syteline ERP or other ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering or related field
  • Experience in Crystal Reports, as well as technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL, SharePoint and Active Director

Forecast Demand Planner - High Point, NC

Stanley is seeking a forecast demand planner, working out of our High Point, NC, office. This position will provide demand planning and forecasting, inventory management and replenishment and purchase order management for Stanley Furniture's (adult) imported product line. Requirements include:


  • Strong analytical aptitude
  • Experience in planning and flowing product from offshore locations to U.S. distribution centers and direct to the consumer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ERP/MRP tools and forecast and demand planning tools
  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of financial impacts on business
  • Experience with ABC inventory classification and in-service management
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Access, Excel and Word


Also prefer Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field; minimum five years work experience with emphasis in supply chain, demand planning, forecasting or purchasing. APICS certification would also be a plus.
