Keeping your Stanley furniture beautiful for the next generation requires an ounce of prevention and a dash of regular maintenance. |
Prevention
- Don’t place your furniture in direct sunlight and/or a damp area.
- Heavy-duty center drawer guides
- Wipe up spills promptly
- Avoid placing furniture directly under windows
- Don’t place plastic materials (i.e.: placemats, notebooks, lamp bases) directly on your furniture. Certain plastics may react with and damage the finish.
Maintenance
- Dust frequently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
- Remove accumulated dust or old furniture wax build-up with a soft, lint-free cloth that has been dampened in a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth and then apply furniture polish, wiping in the direction of the wood grain.
- Polish every six months.
