Borrowing its style from traditional canvas stretchers, the hammered metal frame of our Roycroft Display Mirror is cut, coped and fitted to its beveled glass insert in the same manner as wood. It's a philosophy originated by metal smiths in the Roycroft school who favored individuality in design over mass-production techniques. By playing with the very notion of what it means to create, these artisans developed a construction style and work ethic that endures to this day.
