The Stanley Story

In the heart of Henry County, Virginia, Thomas Bahnson Stanley founded Stanley Furniture in 1924, drawing on a rich family heritage of American craftsmanship. What began as a single factory quickly grew into Stanleytown, a close‑knit community where 100 homes rose beside the plant and generations built their lives around the company. The debut furniture collection in 1925 set a standard of design and innovation that continues to shape homes and inspire our work today.
